Since my coworker took me for a foot reflexology treatmeant a few weeks ago, I've gotten totally hooked.
Foot reflexology has been around for 5,000 years. According to Wikipedia:
Reflexology (zone therapy) is an alternative medicine, complementary, or integrated medicine method of treatment involving the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hand with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on what reflexologists claim to be a system of zones and reflex areas that they say reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.
And usually I am SUCH a doubter about this stuff. Zones, reflex areas, yada yada yada. You know what I mean?
But here's the thing.
First of all... truth be told, I HAVE slept like a baby ever since I've started the weekly reflexology treatments. And also? For fifty minutes, you get to soak your feet, someone rubs them nicely, there's soft music playing in the background, you get brought some hot tea... and... you know what?
THEY PUT A PILE OF TRASHY MAGAZINES IN YOUR LAP!!!!
Ya'll I am NOT even kidding. Do you know how much an US Weekly costs in this town? It's like $10 US or something stupid. And as much as I totally love a frikken US Weekly, I can't really in all good faith shell out like $10 US for it.
But I can TOTALLY justify 50 minutes of 5,000 years of practiced zone therapy for $25 US.
You know.
And some US Weeklies!
I'm so glad you likes!! And yes, totally dig the US Weeklies :)
